56 reviewsSeriously the best laundromat around, super clean, new issues with the folks that come in and out, a wide range of washers to choose from 3X load to 12x load, that's freaking massive by the way, and uses Dexter pay app so you can use the app and do everything real quick like, sit your car what have you watch YouTube, bam you're done. I mean you really couldn't ask for more out of a laundromat.
I went to the counter to get change ($5) for $1 bills and the curly brown haired lady "REFUSED"... I'M NOT SURE WHY THEY CONTINUE TO HIRE THESE MINIMUM WAGE HACKS 😡 I spend a lot of money here weekly, and it's a disservice to not provide change for your customers, this place has really went downhill since opening day, the quality of people that work here now has turned this place into a dump, I'm going to find a new laundromat
The Wash House Laundry was very clean inside. The outside not so much. They could put trash cans and ashtrays outside. I hate to see all the cigarette buts and trash outside. I love the automatic door and the large machines. All in all I would give this place five stars. Having the two change machines and ATM machine.
I rarely go to this laundromat anymore as it's out of my way but there are three big issues with this location that needs to be addressed.
First, they don't provide paper towels in the bathroom. While I understand the reasoning (people putting them down the toilet) there's a simple solution other laundromats have already adopted. Just put the paper towels dispenser outside the bathroom. Customers shouldn't have to go to the front counter to ask for a towel.
Second, this place constantly changes their hours on Google to say 8am to 8pm when they're in fact open 24 hours. Just because an attendant isn't on site doesn't mean you're closed so unless I drive by before or after those hours and see the lot actually empty, your hours shown online are a lie.
Third, and the most important one, is the hand written sign on the door that says service animals must show papers. This is illegal under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Such papers aren't even recognized by the ADA. You're only allowed to ask two very specific questions, anything more puts you at risk of a $75,000 fine for the first offense, a $150,000 for all future offenses. I do not have a service animal, or even a pet for that matter, but I can't in good conscience support a business that blatantly discriminates against those with service animals. This is one of two laundromats in the KC area that I'm aware of that violates the ADA this way, the other being MegaWash.
Clean, many machine choices. Nice folding tables. Use an app to pay for washing and drying- no need to get quarters!
