3 reviewsThe Tide cleaners I use is at Falls of Neuse. I used to work about 10 minutes from them, but now they are about 30 minutes away… and I will still take all my cleaning to them. I think they must have equipment onsite or nearby to do the cleaning, because they have it done faster than any cleaner I used in the last couple of decades. My cleaning has never been lost and I haven’t had any issues with poor cleaning or damages to anything I’ve taken them. I appreciate getting texts for weekly discounts for some of their services and their use of technology to provide enhanced services like after hours pickup when using their kiosk attached to the building. I don’t believe they are the most expensive or the cheapest, but it is reasonable for the quality service they provide. I would recommend them to anyone - family, friends, coworkers, boss, etc.. If you haven’t tried them, you should. Happy Customer for 10 years.
I recently visited Tide Cleaners to have a blanket washed, and while the staff was courteous and the location was clean, I was quite surprised by the cost of this particular service. The total price for washing a single blanket came to $37. In my opinion, this is significantly higher than what other cleaners in the area charge for similar services.
While I appreciate the convenience and quality that Tide Cleaners aims to provide, I believe that $37 for cleaning one blanket is not aligned with the prevailing market rates. Most local competitors offer comparable cleaning for much less, often in the $15–$25 range. As a result, this steep price point makes it difficult to justify choosing Tide Cleaners for such a basic service in the future.
I would encourage Tide Cleaners to revisit their pricing structure for common items like blankets to remain competitive and better meet the expectations of budget-conscious customers. A more reasonable price would not only attract more repeat business but also help build long-term customer loyalty.
Overall, while the service quality was satisfactory, the high cost for washing a blanket was disappointing. I hope to see more competitive pricing in the future so I can continue to use and recommend Tide Cleaners.
Richard, thank you for your comments. We do competitively review our pricing and attempt to save our customer $ through our various weekly promotions. These are typically sent out via email. Also you can save $ using the Tide app and accumulate points towards discounts. At this time we are running a special promotion on our comforters at $19.99, 1/2 price. We hope to see you in the future. Take care, Tim
This was my first time visiting and the two ladies there were very friendly. When I went to pick up my items, I pulled under the shelter part because there was no more parking and a gentleman walked out and I was like I just pulled up to get my things. He said this is Valet and we bring your stuff to you!! I was like WHAAAAT!! LOL. He even took my card and brought my items along with my card back. I told him this was my very first time and I will definitely be back. He was nice and friendly as well.
