10 reviewsWhen I'm Ready To Go Its Always a hold up, The New people I don't think they like Blacks))) it's like they working on they own time, SMH!! I use to love coming here but I think today will be my last day, These new people are messing the company up!!
I love it. I've been going there for three years now and used to go to the original facility on Lombard. Great service for a coin op. Great things to keep the kiddies occupied also
Free pick up and drop off almost every 10 mins they wipe down the machines and mop the floor bathroom clean speaks very little English so communicating is a little off but overall they are friendly and always smiling very comfortable environment
I hate using laundromats but if i gotta wash blankets or something like that my go to is People's Laundromat. The staff is attentive and helpful. There is an array of different sized washers and dryers. The washers range from around 3 or 4 bucks to 12 bucks for the commercial sized ones and they get your clothes clean. Ive never had a problem with the machines not extracting enough water either. The dryers, for the most part are pretty good and dry my blankets on high in 30 mins for 1.25. You can add more money if u need more time as well. I will say - bring quarters or singles bcuz they dont break bills for you but they have a machine to get quarters that takes 1s,5s and 10s. Possibly 20s as well. I just cant remember right now about that. Oh! And do not put in a load to wash after 8pm as they close at 9pm and if you are not there to pick up your dry laundry before 9pm, you are hit until the next morning. Overall, this is a great laundromat.
I give them no stars I been calling them for 2 hours and no one picks up so I don't even know if they really opened today or not so I can't even catch a cab there
I brought my husband’s jacket to get fixed. They told me they would have it ready in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks they didn’t even bother to call us, we just came in to see if it was ready. The Jacket wasn’t even fixed, yet they still made me pay! Ridiculous & irresponsible
I love this place, the area is very close to me and also near other stores and restaurants, the prices are good and the drying is free with every wash. They have a clean restroom and have a nice seating area and two or three big TV's so we can enjoy judge Judy or the news. On top of those goodies that I just mentioned they pick me up and drop me back off..
It's clean they help me when I need it. And I think it's awesome the give you a ride home and pick you up. A great community laundromat for the people. They even have a drop box for the homeless for free clothes, very caring people.
This place is terrible. Very very irresponsible. Drop a jacket off for cleaning and repair on 11/2. I was told 2 weeks and we’ll call you. Stopped by today to check up on my jacket and there it was hanging and ready to go as if it was done. Nothing got repaired and it wasn’t even cleaned. Mind you that was what it was dropped off for. When I go there today there’s no one in the front desk, waited for about 10 minutes and still nothing. I had to grab one of the employees that was cleaning the machines to help me out. Terrible service,no professionalism what so ever and straight up thief’s. Your robbing people for there money. I shouldn’t have paid but just goes to show not everyone is like the people running this place.
Very expensive. A large washer here cost $10.50, that's a lot of money, especially for the Fair Haven neighborhood. The lady that runs this place is also very nasty too and she was always half an hour late. My mom even thought she was doing it on purpose. I used to come here when I lived in that area, before I moved to where I currently live. I don't miss it at all.
