Hands down the best place to do laundry in Orleans Parish. The uptown location is under renovation and I’m sure it will be great when finished. I started coming to this location in the interim. Didn’t know it was actually closer to my house. Extremely clean! Thanks, Theresa, for getting me started!

So charismatic! I love this place. only went to wash my clothes and not dry and i was out of there within 30 minutes. staff is really helpful. make sure to bring 20 dollars and your soap!

Best place to wash in the city. It convenient to the 9th Ward, Gentility and the East. Large size washer and dryer with speed. You won’t spend all day washing. It my first choice when I’m in a hurry or moving thru the city.

Very nice laundromat, card operated not coin, each card costs $1 but the more you wash or visit the more bonuses you receive in credit on your card, like $20 on your card if you put $20 on card at once earns you $2 back but $100 gets you $18 in credit. Randomly when you insert your card you'll get $3 credits and there's $3 back as your points stack up. 2yrs old No broken machines, busy but just check for peak times at least it's 7-10, 7 or 3pm, less busy, We Dat next door, Daiquiris too, onsite laundry machine for whatever you'll need, Dollar General and WalMart within the block, Do a Review at Laundromat Zone and show your attendant you'll get a Free small washer that day, they have gone up in price but sm wash $2.30, triple load 4.40, there's a 4 and 5 loader about 5.50, sm dryer 8mins/.42 or lrg dryer/.45, very clean, Nice

Four stars because nothing is perfect. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Occasionally, you'll encounter a few inconsiderate patrons (smokers, folks playing music on their phones with no headphones, people talking loudly on phones or to the television) but these situations are not the fault of the owners (just a lack of personal pride). Overall, this is a pleasant environment.

Very clean and nice washers and dryers. Very big washers and dryers. Very reasonable price. I like how they offer extra wash and rinse. Very helpful lady greated us at door. Clean and nice place. Love this washer.

Update: 07/19/2025 Mustafa departed yet replaced with someone equally versed in customer service. Still a very decent location although parking is iffy. The facility is not at fault for the parking issue.
Update 06/07/2023 Still using this location and the new on-site Manager, Mustafa, is a gem. He is always available to assist
every customer with a smile. I appreciate his efforts and hope management does as well.

Previous review: Today was my 1st visit to the Old Gentilly Road location and certainly will not be my last. Thank you Mr. Joe for throughly explaining the process. I really appreciated your assistance and consideration. I found the prices comparable, facility spacious and emaculate. Varied washing units for individual needs. Love the hands-free entry. I was never excited about the laundry card system but it is a step above using coins.

On the dryers the owner(s) displays a prove of .49 for large dryers and .45 cents for the smaller dryer. However, they actually charge.54 cents for the larger dryer and .49 cents for the smaller dryers, that is called price deception and In Louisiana, price deception is addressed under the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law. This law, specifically R.S. 51:1401 et seq., prohibits unfair or deceptive practices in trade and commerce. Specifically, Louisiana Revised Statutes § 51:411 prohibits untrue or misleading advertisements, especially those claiming to offer goods at wholesale prices when the seller is not a wholesaler. Additionally, La. Admin. Code tit. 16, § III-309 addresses range of savings or price comparison claims, requiring clear disclosure of the range and a reasonable number of items offered with the largest advertised discount.
