I prefer using the Knightdale family laundry. I love the 80lb washers. The machines work well and spin the clothes untill they are nearly dry. There were several machines that were not working but I imagine that parts are hard to come by now.

I had (3) queen-sized comforters that I needed to launder. I saw the good reviews about Knightdale Family Laundromat, so I decided to give them a try! Lisa greeted me with a nice smile and welcomed me to the laundromat. She asked if I needed assistance, which I did, and she answered all of my questions with a great attitude! The laundromat was clean and comfortable. I used (3) of the 80 lb machines and paid $8.00 for each one. Lisa directed me to the new dryers, saying that they were great and you got more drying time for your money. Those cost $.25 for 6 minutes. The wash cycle took about 22 minutes, and, seeing as how they are big, down comforters, took about 4-5 drying cycles for each one. All in all, a great bargain compared to having them dry-cleaned! I was in and out within an hour and a half. Lisa even offered to help me fold my comforters! She's a great asset to the laundromat. I will definitely return!
One thing that concerned me, and was not mentioned on the laundromat's website, is how often the machines are cleaned. Lisa said they are cleaned every day. Outstanding! Thanks Knightdale Family Laundromat!
