64 reviewsCredit cards are accepted. However, there are few machines that accept credit cards near the dry area. It's a good idea to carry around $5 in cash just in case.
Lifesaver during vacation since Hilton Hawaiian Village has no laundry facilities. That said, lots of reviews warned about illegal towing so I walked over with laundry in my backpack. Food trucks across the street helped pass the time.
Avoid. The facility is tiny - about half the size of a one-bed hotel room. The machines are over-priced. $15 dollars to wash. The detergent vending machine is empty, but you won't realize this until after trying to buy detergent and receiving nothing. The facility is unattended, and several homeless people are using it for shelter. Don't waste your time here. Go across the street to Ena road laundromat and either have them do it for you or do it yourself in an attended business that actually cares about customer service.
Great, quick and small local laundry mat. There was one machine out of service but nothing to complain about since there is a large assortment of machines as well as prices. There are change machines on premises as well as a multitude of security cameras.
Today's experience was about 4 stars out of 5. Place was nearly empty and machines were open.
My rating is based more an overall experiences, and my personal sense of safety. I know that a 24 hr laundromat has some inherent safety issues, but this location sorta takes the cake. Washers often leave my clothes smelling sour, so I mostly just come to dry as needed.
I'm often doing my wash around 6 or 7 pm. I don't go if the weather's been rainy, mostly because so many rough and tumble homeless take shelter in there. I don't feel safe spending time around some of them. I have often observed verbal attacks on customers, panhandling, and worse.
I live in a building very nearby, so convenience has raised my rating to 2 stars.
The machine was BROKEN and took my coins.
They WON'T EVEN REFUND your money if it was more than a month ago.
No one will pick up your calls outside their very short business hours.
There is no human on site, only cameras.
Cars will get TOWED in AN HOUR if there was no person present.
Notable for so many HOMELESS people around.
There was no sign at one side of parking spot in front of laundry to be towed and overcharged me 24 hours for 1 hour that's parked there and 10 miles for 8.3 miles.
The towing company voluntarily did not tell me what to bring and made me make another trip when they have my car and I have no transportation! Still did not tell me I need to pay in cash $200 in person at the first trip.
Must be making so much money from towing cars, ripping the hell out of people.
Also, the police is also in contract with the towing company when towing cars from the public.
Horrible corruption of the society.
Living hell on the earth
DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDRY MAT. This will force them to fix or go out of business. Maybe someone else who cares will buy it. Fix your machines, have some pride in your business. People coming needing a service and all you provide is half working stuff. Should have followed my gut and taken an uber to a different location.
This was my first time ever using a laundromat and hopefully my last. It's located next to a 7-Eleven and doesn't have the best of people in the area. I was impressed that it was clean and seemed well maintained. The large capacity machines allowed me to do one big load and everything was properly cleaned. It is nice that there is a small parking lot attached that is free. However, the homeless and druggies in the area make it very sketchy. Don't think I would attempt to go there if I had to again in the evening or night time because of the riff-raff in the area that hang out close to the doorway.
They do have a change machine and some machines take credit cards. There is also a vending machine for detergent and I'm sure the 7 Eleven next door sells stuff as well. They do have folding tables and limited seating. I wouldn't walk away though from the laundromat while doing your laundry due to the undesirables that might steal and if you park there, park where you can see you car because there is a lot of hanging out in the parking lot with questionable activities.
A good place for travelers or tourists to do your laundry without paying the hotel to do so. There are 2 or 3 washing machines and dryers that take debit/credit card, but two of those machines are broken and out of order. Also, you need to prepare some dollar bills($1, $2 or $10) to exchange for quarters because that’s the only way you can purchase detergents and dryer sheets.
