11 reviewsConsidering the location, this place feels safe and is well-operated. It is clean and affordable with management available on site. Quick process for washing/drying & most machines have card readers if you’re out cash/coins. They do have a coin converter and options to buy laundry detergent if that is a need. Lots of machines available on a Saturday evening and everyone was respectful.
Did the drop off service, friendly staff. And the cost was reasonable at $2 a pound
One of the dryers burned several hundred dollars worth of my bedding. I checked my sheets' & blanket's tags, and they were all safe to tumble dry. None of them even said tumble dry Low. So I put my bedding in a dryer for 7 minutes on medium. When I opened the dryer, I could smell a burnt scent. I touched my fuzzy sheets and they had been burned and melted in places. Several of my fuzzy blankets had been badly burned.
I mentioned it, nicely, to the attendant, who immediately tried to place the blame on me, by poiting to a handwritten sign that basically said "check your laundry tags". I told him, and showed him the tags that said tumble dry.
He shrugged and said he didn't know.
Then he called "his boss" and had him remotely start the very same dryer, and tried to prove to me that my items could not been have burned, because the dryer drum was still spinning and it no longer smelled burnt. (I had removed all the damaged bedding by this point) also, the attendant *felt* the burned sheets himself. So I don't know why he kept telling me it wasn't possible.
I was pretty upset at this point, but was not being abusive towards this attendant, but he still seemed to take it personally that I was upset about the damage, even though I repeatedly told him I did not expect anything from him. He continued to tell me, several times, that the ONLY way my items could have been damaged was if the dryer drum had stopped moving while it was heating. I confirmed I did not see this happen. The attendant was unable to give me any reasons why my sheets and blankets melted within 7 minutes on medium heat.
I'm Audhd and these were big sensory items for me, and I don't have the money to replace these items. I feel very let down by this establishment and extremely bummed that all my bedding is now ruined.
Every single one of their dryers has a sticker that says it accepts cards, but in reality, only 4 out of 30 of them do, and the card readers for 3 of them do not work. There was trash on the floor everywhere.
Had a very rude experience with the owner name richard. He approached me in rude tone and a aggressive way, He didn’t talk to me nicely he started yelling that’s how he approached me. I told him he could’ve talked to me nicer and he ignored me and said “oh well”. He shouldn’t me running this place if he can’t control his emotions are the way he talks to people.
Very clean. A real, live, human employee is on-site. Driers cost $0.50. Brilliant!
It's super close to home, nice and affordable only issue is the dryers sometimes don't work but the worker goes around and checks regularly and pops quarters into a different machine for you. it's also heavily used by everyone in the neighborhood so I can't complain.
Whoever the attendant of this laundry mat is, she is the most rude and disrespectful person. I asked her a question about a drier and she flipped out on me for NO REASON when I asked her if I could use a card. I told her she didn’t have to …
